I’m a free spirited Taipei-born, Maine-raised, Philadelphia-based entrepreneur. Last year I co-founded Catapulter.com, which received seed funding from Betaspring and is now being incubated at Penn. Prior to starting Catapulter, I won the Wharton Business Plan Competition’s Social Impact Award for a novel reusable bag design that I’m still tinkering with. Growing companies, building visions and supporting my fellow female entrepreneurs/techies are my passion!
Prior to launching my own company, I worked for one of the best companies in the world. During those six whirl-wind years, I walked manufacturing floors, led projects spanning continents, and worked with CEOs and CFOs of large and small companies. While my background is in Finance, I’m diving head first into the world of technology with Catapulter. (I’m a nerd at heart!)
Ouside of work…
I love watching movies that make me think or scare the crap out of me. I occasionally hit the gym, but mostly because I hate shopping for jeans and would rather suffer a few jogs and salads to avoid that chore. I love making desserts, and am lucky to have enough will power Not to consume all that I make.
I might end up a cat lady later in life, but I’m fine with that. Please support and adopt from your local animal shelter!
